Houghton on the Hill Parish Council

The Grass Cutting Map shows responsibility for grass cutting the various areas in the Parish.

The Parish Council appoints contractors to cut the grass on 14 occasions between April and October at the following locations:

  • Houghton Field
  • St. Catharine's Churchyard
  • Village Hall Field

Grass will be cut not less frequently than every 14 days although dates can vary according to weather conditions and other factors.

Leicestershire County Council is responsible for maintaining grass verges and the like including jitties.

Harborough District Council

HDC aims to cut the grass 15 times per year at the following areas of public land:

Chapel Close Green

St. Catharine's Green
